Gli Stati Uniti riaprono: a partire dagli inizi di novembre i viaggiatori internazionali completamente vaccinati potranno entrare nel Paese. Lo afferma la Casa Bianca, confermando le indiscrezioni circolate. Tutti i viaggiatori stranieri dovranno dare prova della vaccinazione prima dell’imbarco, nonché di un test Covid-19 negativo effettuato entro tre giorni dal volo.
Stop al travel ban da novembre
Da novembre, dunque, cesserà il divieto di ingresso nel Paese che era stato imposto 18 mesi fa dall’amministrazione Trump come misura preventiva per evitare l’aumento dei contagi. L’amministrazione Biden rafforzerà anche le regole sui tamponi per i cittadini statunitensi non vaccinati, che dovranno essere testati entro un giorno prima della partenza per gli Stati Uniti, nonché al loro ritorno.
Niente quarantena per chi è completamente vaccinato
“Ai passeggeri completamente vaccinati non sarà richiesto di rispettare una quarantena”, ha affermato il coordinatore per la pandemia della Casa Bianca Jeff Zients Zeints. “Verrà richiesto anche alle compagnie aeree di raccogliere informazioni di contatto dai viaggiatori internazionali per facilitare la tracciabilità ”, ha aggiunto.
